How many hours of actual running time have you guys been getting on your G2 (or GBSE) with a fresh 9v alkaline?----------Thanks, Del

I really have'nt kept the time but it is very good. I just put in my 3rd one and I have had my machine since early November. If I had to guess I would say at least 12 hours. Did anyone ever find an ID or serial number on their G-2? I never have. Hope this helps. HH :teknetics::minelab:

Thanks hershey---I've gotta time mine to see, I keep forgetting to do that when I put in a fresh battery.-------The Tek Greek series (Alpha, Delta, Gamma & Omega) and G2 don't have serial numbers.-----The T2 does have a S/N though----funny huh?----I asked a dealer about that (no S/N's) and he said--"just don't loose the purchase receipt".-------Don't know about the GBSE, I don't have one----got me curious now.-----Does the GBSE have a S/N? (anybody)-----------Del

I thought only Alphabets had cerial numbers?

That's interesting Mark.---The GBSE is Fisher & has a S/N ----the others mentioned are Teks and don't have a S/N --except for the Tek T2 and it does have a S/N.  OH WELL----Think I'll go put my purchase receipts in the safety box! :)-----Not to worry though, FT has GOTTA have some way of I.D.ing individual machines.
