We will have to battle the old nature asw long as we are in this body but thanks be to God... He has given us a new nature, His own. So there is always a battle, and the battleground is within us. We have the satanic nature and the devine nature, follow the Spirit and you will be well... PRAY. When you fail, get straight up and do not let Satan accuse you, your failures and sins are paid for.

Oh, the evil temptations that old devil gives to us and especially those who are doing their best in trying to walk the straight and narrow way! Keep reading the Bible and praying! When you need Jesus the most....call out to Him and tell Him you need help right now and to give you the strength to go through and the power to overcome whatever it is that is about to overtake you to cause you to slide back! With God, we can do all things and one of them is to keep satan's snares and temptations from hooking us again with his lies! He is a liar and the father of them!
The more we serve our Lord and Savior the more satan will attack us in the weakest part of our flesh, for the flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing! Remember always, that with God for us who can be against us, as He is the protector and provider of His children and we are His children by believing in and accepting Jesus?!
My prayer: Dear Lord, You know that satan is the temptor and that Tersoronut, our Brother, is a new creation in Christ and is learning and growing in Your Biblical Scriptures! Please move quickly and help him to remain steady and strong in faith and continue following our blessed Savior, Jesus, by staying on Your Road of Life and not the broad way leading into the wide gate of hell! We love You and know You are the almighty God Jehovah Who never fails and will keep us from failing by leaning on and trusting in Your beloved Son, Jesus! Praise God, Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for Your mercy and grace, for Your mercy endures forever! Amen! God Bless! Betty

God Bless! BettyThanks Betty, I am trying to learn to pray The LORD has been leading me in that direction, in every way. Isn't it funny how a three hour sports event is no problem, hours of TV... no problem... 15 minutes of prayer... impossible, who has time? Of course I do have time but my flesh so hates anything to do with God that prayer is just the last thing I ever want to do. Maybe while driving or someother time when I cannot be doing something else. The Spirit is so patient, so longsuffering, so full of love and mercy.
Every book I pick up lately is on prayer. I am reading a really good one right now by Terry L. Johnson called "When Grace Comes Alive", he also wrote a really good one called "When Grace Comes Home".
Thanks, and pray for me, I need it a LOT.
BTW, God really worked something out for m today but i'll post it in another thread.

You are welcome, Julien! Yes, I will pray for you and I have difficulty in praying since I have my brother, Cliff, to help take care of! I used to get up each morning and read the Bible and pray for almost an hour! The one thing satan hates the most is prayer, for he trembles when we pray! I always felt really good after I spent time with God before starting the day's working in the house or yard, but lately it seems harder and harder to get anything done! I pray some during the day and then at night before I go to sleep or try to but sometimes I fail in that also! But don't let ole slew-foot, the liar, get you upset by accusing you of failing, for the flesh is weak! And yet, God is able to elate us up in Spirit, so we can endure and overcome all things!
Cliff and I don't participate with the world by going where we shouldn't or saying what we shouldn't say! When he slips, I just remind him that God doesn't want to hear that and I don't want any sinfulness in our home, as satan uses it to give us grief and sorrow by trying to accuse us of anything that we might fail to do or not to do! But telling him (satan) that everything is under the blood of Jesus and using the Word of God against him, he will flee! The scriptures are like a Sword lashing and cutting him! Won't it be wonderful when we are Home with Jesus forever mor?! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Hi, You know it seems that the enemy is really turning up the heat in all of the Christians that I know. I am going through 2 bizarre trials right now, one could destroy my family, and the other would destroy my integrity.I will pray for you. Anyone else experiencing the heat being turned up?
Sometimes our promised reward seems so intangible and unreachable. It is then that we are most likely to lose sight of our goals and think that it really doesn't matter anyway.
Stay on the righteous path and grasp your goals with all your might. Don't give up and don't give in. Pray for strength and understanding. You can do it. God has faith in you, keep your faith in Him.

PRAY THAN PRAY SOMEMORE-if God can help me than He will definitely help you-with His help and leadership Iv'e been sober now for over 12yrs.just don't give in to that old demon.since being sober both God and the devil test me but since I'm not drinking or dopeing I must be listening to the right one.have faith and pray often as we'll be praying for you
