Beach and park hunts silvers out there!

Well-known member
Well ground here is pretty hard first inch or two so I hit two beaches one was a hike and I found the beauty 1903 v nickel a mercury and a Indian.
Another paper thin mercury and silver Rosie by my home beach.
Today I hit the big park beach and a small green which I pulled the 1961 Rosie and a few wheats the big park was next and we decided Dave a friend and I hit the woods and underneath the leaves was very easy digging we dug a few wheats Dave hit a 1939 quarter and I found
another mercury and and wheat in a spill and the 1956 quarter..
Lots of clad also and token was from the Roger william zoo and some old cowboy village tokens from killingworth Ct which was open from the 1940’s to the early 1960’s .
And about $18.00 in clad 24 wheat Pennie’s
If the grounds frozen check your woods usually you may be able to dig ..,
Good luck out there

Thanks Joe Here’s what the mineralized sand is like on my beaches it actually will make the equinox go into overload and the symbol pops up on the screen!

Well done Mark! I had the cooties, too. Missed most of the month of December including Christmas. I can't wait for warm weather and getting the 600 out. I have found some interesting places thru research. I just have to get permission to go hunting! :detecting:
