A couple hints can’t get out too long hit my local beach got a very worn Barber 1892 old merc two Rosie’s.
Stopped at a old restaurant stop on the side of the road where I found a beautiful 1835 capped bust half dime a few years back I worked it slowly with my D2 got the worn 1917 mercury then I hunted along the woods edge and a chain link fence had a decent signal and dug the 1944 Washington checked the hole and the 1944 mercury was with the quarter!
One lone wheat penny also.

Nice finds there Mark!!
Two silver coins in the same hole is a rare thing nowadays…. At least for me it is…
Thanks Felix this rest area is tough it’s actually right across from my church and I was just doing a small strip of grass between the pavement band a chain link fence going slow with the D2

For not getting out much.
That's a nice haul.
Congratulations on the capped bust.
Thanks Yep I have learned that success in these spots is to go slow and did even the toughest signals when you hunt saltwater beaches loaded sometimes with old iron the signals and coin never are clear tones and silver comes up all over the VDI scale
