Managed to pull more detail from the emperor.......you can now start to see the writing around the edges.

I've had jewellry the last three times i've been out,unfortunately it's all been junk.I know its there,just a bit too deeply buried at the moment.

Hey Nauti, that sure beats finding bottle caps, pull tabs and zincolns, lol. Any marking on that Lobster Claw by any chance?

No markings unfortunately........im still pleased im finding jewellry though even if it is just costume stuff.I know if i keep plugging on i will hit the good stuff,its there justctoo much sand on the beach at the moment.Going to get myself a pi soon to see if i can get a few more inches depth.......not a lot of iron on the beach i detect most.

I'll take costume over pull tabs any day, lol. BTW, I recently broke down after 56 years and finally got a PI. Kicking myself for waiting so long but you're gonna love a PI on the wet and into shallow water, as long as there's not a lot of iron present, lol.

Nice treasures! Like the Coin! And I agree, I believe those junk rings are the way of the future with gold pushing 5300. ..they were plentiful before , this should push them right to the top for good.

You need to find ones like one I found about 12 years ago. It has initials engraved on it and a jeweler's mark. In attempts to return it, I called the jeweler, described it and got a phone number the ring was register to. Called the gal and her response was that she threw it off the pier and never wanted to see it again. Yes, I found it under the pier she said she threw it off of. No need for it to "slip off".
