Had a repairman coming early this morning, so was later then usual getting the Omega fired up. Went to a different piece of woods today and upon entering them promptly noted someone, or one's, had very recently hunted this particular stretch. Trails of disturbed leaves, scratches, kicks and a few dug holes were commonplace all around. I worked my way along the side of a big ravine and made a big swing around to where I had entered. Along the way I managed but 2 pieces of lead. Once I got back to the edge I hunted back off the road a few yards and managed a few keepers and a lot of trash over the next couple of hours. Most notable being a 1919d Mercury, 47 Rosie, 42 war nickel and a gold plated ladies watch case. Had on the 10" concentric coil. I really like the slim profile of this coil for woods hunting.
