Have not been out in months, just too many non-fun things to take care of.......
Got one final chance to go over a 1710 church site. A few buttons, some whatizit copper bits, and then a good, but jumpy signal at the bottom of the depth meter. It read a 10-32/34, was down about 8, maybe 10 inches, its kinda beat up, and I gave it a small kiss with the digger :( but here it is, a big first for me! It's a little smaller than a dime, and very thin.

Spanish Silver is always welcome. That is worth waiting for. It looks like a half Reale but I need something else in the picture for scale. I've got 1/2's 1's and a 2 Reale on my site close up pictures if you want to compare.
Great digs good for you

Very nice find ! :clapping:

Here's two photo's of a 1783 Spanish Half Reale I found last Spring - my coin is a tiny bit smaller in diameter than a Dime - and half as thick - hope the pic's help !

Beautiful finds M and J I too don't think I'll find one of those here in Mich. I think I would have better luck finding a half wheel.

Thx of post,
Moose
