I broke a back tooth, and ended up with a $900.00 crown. Now my dentist wants me to have a tooth implant. This does not sound like fun, but it sure is expensive! I get to do this next in the next two weeks. He told me it takes approximately 3 months for one of these implants to heal. There is not pain while healing, but then I have to have another crown put on it when it is healed. Dental insurance pays a total of $1000.00 per year. Big deal!

Hope you are feeling better soon. One thing I can say to you is "nitrus oxide". :)

you jawbone, then a temp crown is put on. Then when you are healed, the regular dentist puts on a permanent one. I think it is just another case of the docs padding each other's pockets! :(

Remember it as a kid and that was enough. Those nerves are sensitive !! Hope you're on the mend David. Lots of milkshakes !!
