Incubation period is 22-28 days,no idea how long they were there before I found them,male and female both take turns setting on the eggs,all I know is it wanted me away from that nest. Rain tomorrow,so Tues. I'll check again,within hours after hatching the chicks are up and running,if no pics of this brood I took some several years back when I mowed down there.,I even caught one of the little runners,of course I took a pic and let it run. Turn the volume up.
