Best find ever

You seem to be asking all these questions and asking others for input etc but you dont seem to ever start of with say 'this is my best find so far' that type of thing,sometimes its most frustrating.Questions like what is your deepest find/s but once again hardly any input from yourself.Of course its interesting to see what other folks have found but for instance some folks prefer to keep the exact location low profile because of the possibility of other folks detecting the same location.
Of course this is just my personal opinion,i would possibly mention say that i had found a celtic gold stater or a few in the same location here in the UK but i sure as hell would not give a location,and yes i have found a few of them and they are full gold staters from 55BC

Best find ever is 1936 silver liberty walking 1/2 dollar, this coin was only about 2 inches deep, it was the summer of 2015, I found this coin in a wooded area not far from the main park where there use to be a picknik area years ago that isn't used anymore. Between myself and my two brothers we found 4 silver 1/2 dollars in this same area, love to find another honey hole like that. We've been back in there so much that we've turned the ground radio active.

Thats a difficult one.......ive found lots of things that have given me a lot of pleasure.I suppose the most exciting find i ever made was a medieval gold posy ring with a lovely inscription inside.
I joined an internet detecting club and was on my first ever dig with them.I believe the land had been used before by the club as everybody seemed to rush over to a certain field while i just started detecting in the field closest to where we had parked our cars.
I was using a sovereign gt with a little joey coil and after about 15 mins detecting hit a lovely signal and pulled up the ring from about 4 inches.
I declared the ring to our club field liason officer and it spent just over a year in the British museum.I was given the ring back as the museum did'nt aquire it and as the land owner was'nt interested i got to keep it.I sold it to a collector eventually as it was just sitting in my drawer not being seen.
The ring was a lady's ring and the inscription loosely translated to "the one i love".It was amazing to think that a medievil lady of some importance dropped that ring in the 1200's and i was the first person to see it since then.......i'd love to have known who she was and what she looked like.

On some forums a certain number of posts are required to utilize all the functions of the site. We all start out this way. I remember feeling elated when I reached 100 posts! As was said, however, I tried to incorporate my experiences in the posts to evoke meaningful exchange. Share is a good word. Now I have a long list of friends-to me-on this forum.

Wow, I have yet to find a decent relic of any value, and have never found a single piece of jewelry. Nada, zip, ziltch
This is the personal seal of Thomas the chaplain.
He lost it in his "Glebe" aka garden where he lived not far from the church.
Thomas was the first chaplain of St Marys church Wedmore which was a rich wool town in Somerset England.
The date on the old church scroll of all their clergymen is 1311AD.
It now resides in the nearby National Trust St John Hunting Lodge museum.

Seems folks would like to see another find or two.
This time I will post a 15th century Merchants Signet (Seal) ring.
This very large silver thumb ring was worn on a leather gloved hand.
It carries the initials WS which leads me to believe that it could be William Spencer 3 times lord Mayor of Bristol.
He supported Richard III (White Rose0 )and was charged with treason by Henry VIII (Red Rose) but purchased his way out of trouble.
The ring came from a possible DMV (Deserted Medieval Village site).
All it needed was a wash in clean water and it was as good as the day it was lost.
It was classed as treasure and now resides in Bristol museum.
