Best small coil for the Minelab Safari

I was wondering if I might get some input on what the best small coil for the Minelab Safari would be. I took the Safari out to an old proving ground the other day. This was my first outing with the Safari and I was pretty much wanting to familiarize myself with the control buttons and setting the Safari up going through the Menu's. The test area is an elementary school built back in the 1950's. The playground and surrounding area is horrible. Fill dirt has been brought in through the years and the ground is riddled with pull tabs, nails, tin foil, and coins, modern coins. What better place to give the Safari a trial, right? Wrong. Lol For starters I have only the stock 11' coil, which I knew would be driving me crazy, and it didn't disappoint. I also left my pinpointer at the house. Welllllll Dawgie's. It was an interesting few hours out. I know that if I plan on keeping the Safari that I will need a smaller coil down the road. I still haven't had a chance to test it on relics yet, but plan to soon. Deer hunting season in Georgia is almost over. Over all, I believe I will get to really like the Safari once I get used to it and all its language.

Minelab 6" coil

Thanks Elton. I have been looking at the Nel Snake Coil and the Cors 5' coil too. That's one thing about Minelab, and that is you have quite a selection of coils to choose from.

I use a 10X5 sef coil narrow and effective.
