After reading about hunting in two tone ferrous this morning I decided to give it a try. It was quieter, but I am not sure if the trade off is worth it, as I had to look at my screen much more than I am used to. Also it seemed more like a one tone as I never heard but one kind of medium pitched tone. Never the less, looky what I found! This is only my second Walking half. The tone made me look and part of the rim was out of the ground. The dime and penny were a good 10" down. All the coins came from local mountains. There is an 87 nickel too, but  Terry in San Diego
