Big hunt tomorrow

New member
1st off let me qualify, I am new to the 800. I have about 20 hours on the machine. I usually can get out for a couple of hours once a weekend. That being said, tomorrow we have a club hunt at a property that is right next to a site where a 1835 fort stood. One building is still standing in its original location. We are on private property approximately 30 yards from the building. 9 acres Should be military and civilian artifacts there.
I am thinking I am going to run Field 2 with 0 iron and 4 or 5 recovery to start. There has been constant activity on the property for roughly 200 years. Not sure of the ground mineralization of this area. A river flows through the bottom of the property.
Pretty nervous about missing the setup being so new to the machine and all. Wish me luck

I’m new to it too but the setup sounds right. Nothing like anticipation! Good luck tomorrow...
