Big Scoops

Root Doc

New member
Good morning,

I've seen several messages where members recommend the use of a large scoop to recover a target. Which scoops fall into this catagory? Many thanks for your help.

To me anything with a mouth over 8" is a pretty darn good scoop. Im not certain you can mention scoops that are non-sponsors.

I've use and tried many scoops and have settled on the Sunspot for the many type bottom materials I've run into.

I would concur with the last post. I have had 2 SunSpots & love them. I just bought the travel scoop which has a pointed front which really digs well in the sand or gravel. It is large, but relatively light. They are made of stainless steel & very well consrtucted with a sturdy kick plate on the back of the scoop when you hit hard digging. Good luck!
