Today's hunt in the field was pretty slow with only a few hideous coins being found. An Indian cent, a Shield nickel, and a pair of V nickels were in such poor shape, they didn't warrant a pic. Then my last coin of the day was a very deep signal that ID's as a quarter. At 8 inches down the probe locks on a half signal. :clapping: Straight up and down on edge, this beauty was in the bottom of the hole!

Mike-I don't know you but I've read a great many things you've posted over the years going back through the archive. As a newbie to the Explorer2 I really hope you post regularly as it is a GREAT help to the newer users. To share your knowledge as Charles,Chris,Bryce,MikeO and the other gurus do is really indispensable.
BTW...I'm glad I didn't find that Seated half,I would've expired on the spot.
