Had loads of rinbs badges and coins off Blackpool in the past and would really like to get back into it again,

Hello Debs.
No problems with Blackpool at all.
I've been doing that stretch for years.
Might even see you down there over the weekend, (depends on the weather).
Found some good stuff on there myself.

Not too far from Liverpool, UK. The tide changes are breathtaking when compared to what we see here in the Sates.

I hope everyone enjoys these Postcards of Blackpool and the Beach. Good Luck. Someday I may join you for detecting. goldnugget-Charlotte,N.C. U SA. Postcards are from Year 1902 era

Tower was still very prominent when I was there a few times about 12 to 13 years ago. My primary beach activity there and then was clam digging for the razor clams. Very good eating! Also watched the hovercraft taking people out from the beach over the water and along the waterfront. And of course enjoyed a few pints of bitters!
Cheers,
tvr

Here are some finds from the same era as the postcards from Goldnugget.

I have got over a hundred of the bullets.
And the badge needed no cleaning at all !!!

Chaddy. Beautiful Badge. Do you find alot of older coins- goldnugget-Charlotte,North Carolina. U S A, I have some more Postcards of that area if everyone would like to see them--gosports1@aol.com

Great post cards and finds,
I didnt make it this week end, but im still itching to get back there, used to go with my x partener, we had great finds off different areas of the beach one of the best areas being in front of the tower. Its still there and still very popular.
Lots of gold rings, usually Victorian, old coins, badges military and enamelled, sweetheart brooches and what we used to call fairground junk but still nice to find, this could be lead badges in the shape of the tower, sport theme items and animals. Also junk jewelry. Always a good day out there.

Thanks for the permit link will check it out.
Debs tms :)

You apply for the permit online, and it comes stright back online, then you just print it out.
The maps of the allowed areas are available as .pdf files in a box on the right of the main screen, which you can download and print out, but aren
