Haven't posted any aircraft in a while...thought I'd pull these out of the dusty files on the hard drive and post/repost.... a couple of F-18's that stopped by in 2012... not the paint job you see very often, but always fun to watch when you get the chance
 
Frank, interesting pictures of the F18's. Why does the blue colored plane have the red star? Thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
the blue paint scheme represents the aggressor when they do air to air combat training. theyre the bad guys... RED star... usually the pilots of these are some of the best instructors going against the trainees... kinda lik what you saw in the top gun movie
