Bottom rod working loose on my Nox 800

I noticed while hunting on the beach that my coil kept shifting away from alinement with my control box. I kept trying to readjust the position of the coil by moving it up and down the upper rod and retightening it. Nothing worked, so when I got back to my place I took the lower rod out. The hole on the lower rod where the button holds it in place was elongated and the button and spring were down in the lower rod. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

No have not but I run a aftermarket carbon shaft.
