General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

He Offered to trade me an Omega for a Tejon I had forsale on the classifieds. I delivered, HE DIDN'T.
Fact is he has my Tejon sent Priority Insured and I got nothing but excuses of vacations, broke down cars, his Omega was damaged at PO before shipment.
He says I'll send your Tejon back, not confident thats going to happen, getting a real bad feeling at this time. So I ask him if he wants to just buy the Tejon, He says he only has so much in his paypal. I agree to take what he's got and he can pay the rest later. I'm just trying to get out from under this nightmare
He says sure just send an Invoice and I'll pay right away, which I did.
Quess what, No payment

If he who he says he is, He has pictures all over the Internet of big fish he has caught, don't be his next catch

You have been warned.

Once again Jerry Rucker trying to pass off a detector that he says is nice and new and it's really as old as its model can be !
He's getting it back in the same condition and if hes got any guts he will let the forum know when he does !
 
I was just burned by him as well!

I bought his Omega on June 17th, and he said that he shipped it. But he never did. For tracking it says:

Label/Receipt Number: 9101 7850 9140 1101 9253 36 Class: Priority Mail
 
He has read all my messages that I have sent him over the last week and how he deactivated his account! Here my story.

I bought a metal detector from Darren on June 17, he said that he shipped it but I have not received it yet, and it has been 3 weeks. This is a priority mail package and it is domestic so it should have already arrived within 1 week. When I check the tracking number he provided it says: Label/Receipt Number: 9101 7850 9140 1101 9253 36 Class: Priority Mail
 
I think "troller" is Bubbles705 who just registered today!

Shame on you Darren, I thought you were a nice, honest man.

Obviously he reregistered under New ID (Troller), so he could try get back at me for exposing him.

Well, everyone, he burned ME too...

He offered to sell me a brand new Gold Bug Pro coil, after I posted a "wanted to buy" ad...

After several exchanges, I agreed to buy, and sent him $100 through PayPal. That was the LAST I heard from him. He ended ALL communication. He has my $100, I have no coil. He will not communicate with me. I have filed a resolution through PayPal, I guess I need to elevate it as a formal claim.

That really sucks that I may lose $100, and really sucks for each of you others who have been burned...

Any of you on here who have been burned interested in joining me in filing a police report with the North Platte Police Department?

Hey, I just posted in the other thread, as well. Brawler, your story is exactly like mine -- though I never talked to him on the phone, we communicated several times prior to me sending him money, and then after I sent it, all communication ended on his part. I have tried numerous times, no answer. He refuses to contact me, and obviously has my money.

If you guys are interested in going to the police, I'm in...this should not be allowed to go on, him scamming and stealing from numerous people -- he needs to be caught, whether we all get our money back from PayPal, or not...

Paypal will have to eat your and Brawler's money because they will never get it back from him.
So He's frauding People, and Paypal by using the mail system.

How do these people sleep at night.

I have dealt with Jerry in the past and what he says about the condition of a detector you can bet it's just as he says. I was very pleased with the transaction and condition of the detector I bought from Jerry and the detector was shipped the same day he received my money order.

Interesting, will have too see if he was a smart criminal or just someone acting on impulse and short on money. If he was smart, that's not his real address, but worth a try.
 
Hey Guys that to bad to hear, sorry for your losses. I worry about that myself with trades and I'm very lucky I never had any problems, knock on wood. And as far a Paypal goes you should be covered if you contacted them and filed a complaint it 45 days and you did. It's hard to believe he even had a Paypal account cause they are pretty straight up on their policy's. But I have had issues with purchases and they've always refunded my cash and went after the scammer. Thanks for the head's up. Take Care, Woodstock
 
sorry to hear about you guys bad luck with the crook. the only good thing to come out of this was on my part. i was in the middle of a trade with him when i got called out of town for the weekend. when i started to finish the details on the trade all this came out. so i guess i lucked out. i don't know what the answer is but it really makes you wonder about internet transactions
 
Wow Iam sorry to hear about what happen to you guys. This guy needs to go down. I hate people like that. I have been wanting to trade detectors to. But now Iam scare to do it.
