Anyone detected any beaches in California? I am heading that way next summer and was curious if anyone has any tips on which beaches are best.

We love Santa Cruz. We love to go see the tide pools at Half Moon bay. Have you metal detected there?

For sure! The beach at the Boardwalk was always a spot for fresh drops. During wither storms when sand moves you used to be able to find older coins or rings.
