Hi all. I am new to this forum so please bear with me. I have a Magellan gold receiver and also, with it a Map send topo disc and a 128mb data card. With that I started downloadiing topo information into the card. After doing all of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, I got a screen saying something to the effect that no more could be downloaded because the receiver couldn't take any more (?), Does this sound right? Why would these people sell data cards that are too large for the machine to handle? what is the largest data card I should buy for my receiver? (there is no sense in buying 128 cards that will only take 1/3 of the information....... thankyou in advance for any and all information  Gene

I don't remember all the detail about Magellan map size issues but first of all make sure that you have the latest firmware - it's a free download from Magellan website. I know that it used to be an issue but it could (should) be fixed now. If it's still a problem after firmware update, I'll look up the solution. IIRC there is one.
