Can I still play here???

Well I went and bought myself an E-Trac yesterday for my birthday and will be spending some time on the e-trac forum here but have so many people I have connected with on the Explorer forum. I have been using the Explorers for the past 9 years and have been a member of this forum for many of those years (under several different user names).

So if you don't mind, I want to still hang out here and share my finds and stories. BTW, I am still keeping an Explorer SE pro as my back-up unit:detecting:

Now you can post on both forums, but by all means, dont leave us,we enjoy all the posts we can get.

What inspired your purchase of the Etrac... Depth increase, better seperation ??

Elton, I did it more for target seperation. I hear it is better at it but the depth is supposed to be about the same. I have hunted with Ray-mo a few times and he has used both the Explorer and E-trac and likes the E-trac better.

So, I finally decided to give in to my curiosity. We will see. If I hate it, I still have a nice SE Pro to go back to:detecting:

I sure will Chris. Plenty of experience with the Explorer line so hopefully I can offer some insight as to the pros of each one.
