Ok, so I'm frustrated today cause I can't even seem to find a Wheatie. I get home from a meeting and just can't let it go I have to go find something, I end up at my local hunted out park about two blocks away, 10pm, got my my head lamp digger and my xs, only had an hour for the park is closed to public after 11 and the police officers have made me aware of this fact many times. I did pull a couple of wheats then got a very faint but repeating signal about 8 inches or so and the cross hairs were spending alot of time bouncing from the middle to the upper right, I dug a good deep plug and poked in my x-1 and she stared singing like a 12 year old choir boy, took out a couple mor inches of dirt and caught a glimpse of this pretty lady:yo::super::yikes:. My oldest foreign coin. any one know anything about her..At least now I can sleep tonight, I'm so addicted to this hobby.

Nice looking large cent. My "Coins of Canada" book says 2,000,000 were minted in 1893. Great find!

Must be Canada week. I found an 1890 Canadian 10 Cents (dime) Monday. Same profile of Queen Victoria. I can barely read the date on mine though, but I love finding Canadian coins. I'm still hoping to find a 5 cent Fish Scale one of these days.

Your 'One Cent' Piece is a nice looking coin, Congrats on the find and kudos for the determination to get out there late.
