Haven't been able to get out for the last two weeks!!!!! The thought of that gold ring I found on my last hunt are still fresh on my mind. At the very earliest I won't be able to get out until next weekend. If the weather allows for it.

I'm gonna put on my Car-harts and go out anyway! It's cold and windy but it's supposed to get up around 30F today so, out I go! The water level is low at the lake so I think I will hit a beach.

Tell me about it... Just when I start to see a hint of grass in this 200 year old yard(house built in 1797) that I am dying to hunt since I moved in here December 9th, IT SNOWS!!!! So now it has been since December, with no relief. And guess what is in store for us tomorrow night... Yes, 5-8 inches more of that white aggrivation. My Ace is just sitting in the corner here waiting to go to work!!!!!

Well on the lighter side I will be moving back to Florida in April... Beach hunting time. I WILL be hitting this yard out here hard when it thaws and melts before I go though.

Woo Hoo! Good for you! Florida would be an awesome place right now! No matter what I'm doing here in up-state NY, I am always thinking about tectin! I am always thinking of a new place to hunt or about different settings on my machine I want to try, but always thinking, what if?!..........I want to get the 10x14 DD coil for my 1350, I think that most of the silver is deep around here and thats why I'm not hitting any! I also want to get the small coil for the park and playgrounds!.............I just keep thinking.....

I am on the west coast north of Tampa.

Here I am in this sunny state with no snow and I can't get out and tect either...too many honey do's...and I love my honey! Work has been kicking my butt as well been very tired from that and the wife and I think we have been fighting a bug we both have and just don't have the energy to do anything.

I feel guilty and ashamed :sad:as I keep reading how none of you are getting out and wanting too!

I'm move a bit south of you to Cape Coral. I lived there up until last September when I moved to Western Massachusetts, but we have decided to go back. I am from Here in Massachusetts, but I have been Floridaized after 14 years.

LOTS of beaches to play on there. I used to live in Vero Beach, and I am making it a point to tect there after I get back.

I know where spring hill is!!! Nice area. It's not far from Inverness where I first landed in 1996 on my first move to FL.

Yep! damm snow! Just do what I do. Buy another Playstation 3/Xbox 360 game. Just rent it and play it first before you shell out the $60.00 new game price. Currently battling Super Mutants for control of the D.C. area!! - also some games even have treasure hunting in them!
