Can't Load New Pattern into CTX With XChange 2

I loaded xchange2 onto my computer and plugged in the ctx. I tried to drag a coin pattern named uscoin.mlf from windows explorer and drag it to the file folder in the xchange 2 program and nothing. Does anyone know the correct procedure or have a video for transferring a new pattern to the CTX? FYI I did read the manual and it didn't help.

Log into the XChange2 program. Plug in your CTX 3030, turn it on, and it will bring up an icon for the detector at the top of the list. In the XChange2 program, when you click on File, you will find three options in the top of the "gray space". One is Import. Import the file from your PC. It will be placed in File. Then drag it from File to the icon for your CTX 3030. HH Randy

I don't even mess with the file folder. I created a new collection and gave it a name then created a mode and gave it a name. After I connect the detector and turn it on I just grab the mode I made with the mouse and drop it on the detector icon. It copies it. Then unplug the detector from the USB port before turning it off and you will see the detector say "updating". Done.

Am I correct by adding, after putting the file in the CTX, in the Xchange2 program, unplug the USB cable before shutting off the CTX. This allows the transfer to complete? That seems to work, but maybe I'm still not doing that properly.

I see pspr posted above info while I was typing mine......Sorry for the duplicate.
