Cash coin

looks like a chinese penny.... if you can make out the 3 or 4 characters on it you can go on line and find a general date of issue... most are common with little or no value but they are cool to find.... read somewhere that they were attached to some sort of popular imported basket back around early 1900s...

Thats an old coin! 1736-1795. I found one from the next emperor which was 1796-1820. Yours is older then mine. Mine is the coin directly to the right of yours on that page HuntingDog linked.

Here is a picture with mine in it, Its on the far left. MY Chinese cash coin
