Just returned from 3 weeks in England. I have lots of video to edit. This is my first gold coin of the trip. Will post the other next week.

There not actually that rare about 125 to 300 pounds, about 200.00 to 500.00 US. book value. mine is a nicer example so closer to the top of the range.

thanks for the comeback, would be a dream come true to dig Celtic anything, that is my ancestral heritage!! you're one lucky dude!!!! i dont wear jewelery of any knid but that my friend i would have made into a necklace and wear everyday!!!

I already have one, I put my first Ceeltic full stater into a bezel. Here's a pic. Gold is melted beach finds and the diamond is a 1/4 ct VS1.
 
Man Ron what a coin. Trip of a lifetime over the pond!! I'm going as soon as the wallet gets a little fatter. Barry told me you go out often? Maybe we will have to chat sometime about it.
