Although I was digging this morning and dug 11 clad, 4 Memorial cents and a few other curios, my most interesting find of the morning was a bottle. It was 5" deep and the LTD hit the metal stopper. It has Bluff City Bottling Memphis Tenn and in the middle a big C with an o inside the c. The bottom has 8 sides about an inch or so high. Although I wasn't able to find out all that much about the bottle yet, a quick google indicates a1903 to 1905 possibility, date in use. Think I'll post it on the bottle forum, too and see what some of the bottle guys say. Have a good day, all. HH jim tn

Very nice recovery! Most of the bottle pieces I get (very few intact bottles) are old soda bottle necks with the remains of the screw cap ring still attached.

Jim your bottle look like a Hutchinson soda bottle From 1880 to 1900 look up hutchinson soda bottles you should you should find it. JimCVA Keep up the good hunting

That's a cool wee bottle Jim, :clapping: :clapping:
the bottle itself looks in really great condition. :jump: :jump:
There must be a collector somewhere out there who's willin' ta pay good money for it.
Or if the company still exists they might want it for their museum or a showcase.

That is a beautiful find.

Thanks Jim, it does look like a Hutchinson. When I first looked for some info on it, I did see an aqua green one that looked like the same bottle. Thanks again and hope you are finding some goodies over there in Va. We miss you! You were a good hunting buddy. HH jim tn
