Back at the old Acadian and I have to say the ETrac is awsome in TTF. The 1st photo shows some kind of copper/bronze sleeve around a rusty chunk of iron. The ETrac showed a possible good target 5-6 inches down. Not a good target but shows me I'm not missing much (I hope). My other detectors would have just showed iron. 2nd photo shows a flat button, 1902 V nickel, 1914 Buffalo, 1907 IH, and my very 1st after 15 years of hunting a merc (1920). The 3rd photo shows a copper/bronze thing and the other photos show bullets, junk, a few other coins and trash.

Good luck at your sites and HH,

Kenny

am I reading that correct that that is your first merc after 15 yrs of hunting? Them are some great finds TTF rocks!

Very nice finds! That place has been awesome for you!

Please tell me that's typo-
15 yrs and your first merc, or 15 years and your first merc with a 1920 date?
I've only had one- yes one indian penny in 4 years, so I guess anything is possible.

Thanks and yes my first ever merc. Found lots and lots of rosies, a few barber and seated dimes and 1 capped bust but that 1920 merc was my first ever merc. Felt good taking that off my to find list!

I only recently found my first Merc during the summer... only been detecting on and off for 3 years though. It was found in my Mom's yard in MA, and funny thing is I went over that same ground with a GarrettGTI2500 and an ACE250 and didn't pick it up until my E-Trac sweeped over it.

I only really hunt fields and woods, so that might be why I have only found the one?

Been detecting just over two years
found just one seated 1876 seated dime, one Barber 1915 dime and a bunch of mercs and rosies, a bunch of silver quarters but not any Barber or seated, etc but i did find a fine 1907 Barber half, my finest coin found at a depth past my elbow.
with the husband these past two years we found 25 silver but members of our club have found hundreds of silver
its all relative but certainly fun
