Is there a way to check and see what version the firmware is on my 3030.
Granted it should be up to date but you never know.

Plug it into xchange while its connected to the internet. If there is an update available, you will see an icon to update the firmware/software. If you machine isnt more than a few years old it should have the newest version from the factory

Since I believe you still don't have the working version of Exchange you would be limited to checking if you have the seawater and pinpoint lock option. That was added during the last firmware dated Oct 31 2012. But, like trojdor said, it would be unlikely for you not to have it already.
