Hello everyone and thanks for looking I have just received news about the forest preserves in Chicago it seems that the Forest preserve board of cook county has closed metal detecting to everyone and the fine's if caught are from $75.00 up to $500.00 we metal detectorist's in Chicago are in need of help to change this policy because if this stands we could be looking at the closing of are park's and beaches to detecting . The people involved with this ordinance are as follows :

President Toni Periwinkle
Jerry Butler
John P . Daley
Jesus G . Garcia
Gregg Goslin
Edwin Reyes
and Robert B . Steele
Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioners

We need people to write to these individuals and tell them what you think about this decision .
