Merry Christmas to one and all on the forum
My finds so far with the E-Trac have just gone over $700 (decimal), 15 rings, 3 bracelets, and 35 pre decimals.
Very happy with it's performance so far, but still have heaps to learn, I have problems separating $1, and $2 coin signals from deep aluminium can signals.
I will try to post a few images.:ausflag:

A very merry Christmas, and a happy new year to you all from Snowy....

Merry Christmas Bazza, and to all Forum viewer.

Re $ and Ali cans......If you can't differentiate using Conductivity, then do you think it may be possible using Ferrous mode?

It's just a thought...try and see if a deep can's ferrous is different than a $'s.

Well done on the finding so far............Best of luck in the New Year..........Marshall

Thanks Marshall,
I haven't tried that yet, been getting some very deep targets lately, found a penny at about elbow depth, faintest reading, this is about the same depth the can bases seem to read, and have picked up $2 coins at 8-9 inches so am inclined to dig anyway, I'll try your suggestion.
The only other observation of note is that I seem to be finding more pre decimals on the beaches as compared to my Explorer II, this could be due to:
1) Better separation technology
2) Sand movement
3) Luck
4) greater depth
Or it could be a combination of any of the above.
As mentioned in my earlier post I have found 35 plus pre decimals in the last 4 months, I wouldn't find that many in a year with my Explorer, has anyone else had similar findings?
Cheers:ausflag:
