Went with a friend today who has +35 years hunting CW relics in LA. He has so much knowledge. 3 hour hunt in soybean field adjacent to old road (location
) next to major Bayou / waterway where Union Troops moved from north to south in Central LA and encountered skirmishes along the way. Was able to pull these (4) bullets out of the dirt. My buddy got 8 bullets.
From left to right : 2- Sharps & Hankins projectiles- Probably fired by Union Troops. 1 - .44 cal pistol projectile 1- three ring bullet remains.
Used Relic mode w/ 2 Tone ID. MXT worked great. Most of these were at 4". Thanks for looking. CCH

Those are great finds EJ. I love seeing those old minie bullets. Don't ya just love that MXT?! It's so versatile. I've had mine for around 9 years and still wouldn't part with it for another. It's a powerhouse for sure. HH and thanks for posting, Nancy
