I dug this last night I am pretty sure its a civil war eagle button maybe someone on this forum can confirm? My wife also found the crotal bell pictured any ideas on a date for that or a good website would be appreciated. If the buttons real its my second civil war find in 14 years but that's what I would expect in here in MN. Thanks for lookin.

great find. it is a civil war button if it has an I in the middle it infantry. yours looks like its in good shape
