CLADDAGH 925 SILVER RING

Goldstrike

Well-known member
It's been slim pickin's recently apart from a huge 14K gold ring I detected 2 weeks ago which is on a previous post. I got this Claddagh ring recently off a beach which is an Irish ring given as a token of love and also worn sometimes as a wedding ring and has origins and design from the 17th century! They made and also still make them in gold but this one is just 925 silver. H.H. everyone!

Really nice finds Goldstrike. Been a little slow around here for me lately. Brother in town from Sweden and work, it is always something. Did just get back from Germany and Austria with the family. (unfortunately no detecting... family vacation) Going to NC for a week soon and will hit it hard the whole time.
Thanks for posting,
Bunker

Thanks for your encouraging words Bunky,::clap: I wished I hadn't posted the ring because it's a very common ring but what the heck, I didn't have anything else to post except all the ring tabs and pull's and cheap jewellery!!!!! BUT.. in the next few days, I'll be hitting the beaches and surf very hard:twodetecting: and we'll see what comes up!!! The beaches here in So.Cal are hit hard year round so the competition is very stiff but no one can cover all of the surface areas of the beaches here!
Like yourself, it's been vacation time for me and also my oldest son just got married in Portland Maine so we just got back from that and as much as that was a great time for us, I'm so looking forward to some serious detecting again!
I also have been to Germany and Austria, as far as Vienna and they really are very beautiful places to vacation so if you want to post pic's, I for one will enjoy them!! Isn't it frustrating when you cannot pack your metal detectors on trips like these but you know there is good stuff to be found!!!
Best wishes on your trip to N.C. and I hope you do very, very well! H.H.!!!:twodetecting:

Thanks Goldstrike, best of luck hitting the beach. Look forward to seeing what you come up with!
HH,
Bunker
