Was a wonderful night in the Texas Panhandle last night. A few clouds and storms in the area but didn't hurt the photos too bad... still trying to learn how to do night photography.

Wow, Frank.
That is one great photography.
Wonderful. A moment for dreaming.
Thanks for sharing.

What a stunning photo, what type of settings would one use for a night shot like that ?? i use a Nikon D3300 with a 55-200mm lens,oe can you only take shots like that with a much bigger lens.

Many thanks

Thanks for the kind comments gang... I was using a Nikon D700 with a Nikon 24-85 zoom Was set to 24mm .... 25 seconds at f/5.6 ISO 1600 . Tried touching it up in Adobe Lightroom a bit... just not getting the hang of processing the night shots. I think a lot it has to do with lens and noise... but going to keep on chugging along and hope to get cleaner shots.....
