I was able to get out today with a hunting buddy for a trip to a local park. The ground was soaked from all the rain we received. Just about every plug we dug was full of water. I enjoyed the hunt, just hated the muddy mess of digging and retrieving. I think the CTX was hungry for copper and zinc today. Seems like it was just tuned to pennies for some reason. My buddy hit a fair amount of clad too. He pulled several more quarters than I did. 2 of my targets today got my heart jumping when I pulled them from the plug. Right color and shape.... Wrong alloy!!! Close but no cigar... LOL... Anyway... It was a great day.

It's not fun hunt after rain.. you come home filthy and your pin pointer is caked.
