Cloudy, Clad and Claddaugh

I go to this place a lot..its a real trashy park built on fill from foundrys, so its very loud and can be frustrating to hunt, but it gets a ton of activity during the summer. I had an hour or so, and was thinking "ring". going slow, popping tabs and nickles, just really dinking around...Then...
I hit these two tokens, one is St. Jude, the other is St. Peregrine, both in the same spot, within a foot of each other, so I was thinking maybe there was a booth of some sort set up here? ..got a "dime" signal, and up popped this 925 8gr three piece claddaugh ring from a couple inches deep. It unfolds into this clover shaped thing! It still has a price tag on it for 39.95. This is the second piece of jewelry I've found with the price tag on it so it pays to think about where the vendors tables would be set up in various parks.. I also found a 52 wheatie, (strange) and the rest o this clad (normal). I run a low sens here, 53, with -5 thresh, 1 disc..my go to program for the trash and shallow targets on the F70 with the 11"dd. I dont think a fellow can go any higher on the sens/thresh and find a thing, with all the bottle caps and whatnot....It supposed to be 50 degrees tomorrow, it was 36 this am...very unusual for this time of year and no snow, and the ground thawed out too! I went out to my truck without a penny in my pocket, but there was a pile of dirty change from several hunts that wont shine up in a coffee can there, so I ran it through the coinstar and got 17.44, got 10 bucks in gas, a pack of smokes, a cup of coffee. and then went and hunted..what a great sport/hobby this is!

Mud sounds like me, "with not a penny in my pocket." Very ingenious why to use your dirty coins. Nice hunt Mud. It would really be worth the investment for a 6" coil. They really work good in trash and you can get much closer to those iron poles.
Sold my ring that I found the last hunt and got an oil change today with the money. Great work .....Z

These magic wands are the best investment a fellow could make! Talk about a profitable way to spend some time and get some excersize! Zeek did at least 12,000 bends this year alone...good for you for getting that ring sold! I'm pretty sure theres gold in this park, with all the people jumping around and drinking and whatnot...maybe I'll go back tomorrow thinking "chain" and see if I can hit one scratchy signal or two...i'm done travelling for the year, Jim, and yes Elton, a park like this makes it easy to have some "Physic" ability, with all this poo, theres gotta be a pony in here somewhere!

Mud, good going, I love the price tag. That is awesome, the stuff is brand new, under ground and plentiful to boot. Good hunting, CO
