Coil choice for IDX Pro

I am looking at the 5.3 or the 4x6DD coil for mostly coin shooting in the normal park and school setting. Which one do you'all prefer and why? Thanks for your input. Txquest

I assume your in Texas. Do the 5.3 concentric coil. The DD's advantage is primarily for a little more depth in heavily mineralized soil. Which excludes Texas. The other DD advantage is a identifying good target next to trash. Due to the narrow beam of the DD design. Almost every detectorist that use coils in low-medium mineralization soils (Texas for example) prefers the concentric coil due to its better depth, more accurate target identification and superior pinpointing abilities.

Txquest, I am about the strongest supporter of smaller-than-stock coils you could ever find. I have also made good use of all of the factory-produced and aftermarket coils for the White's line and some others.

Of the two coils you mention, and honestly of ALL the coils White's makes for the IDX Pro and other late-model 6.59 kHz coils, the 5.3 BullsEye is the way to go. it measures about 6
