coil

If you a concerned about separation then your ticket is the 6X10"DD or the 4X6"DD coil. Use the concentric coils on the beach, run with minimal discrimination and "dig everything". Use the DD coils inland. Hunt slow and let the DD's help separate the targets. I thought DD coils were used in mineralized soil ? Why concentric coils on the beach ?

Concentric coils work at their best in mild to medium mineralized ground (beach) deeper than a DD. In very mineralized ground the DD coils of the same size will often be deeper than a concentric. (smaller in ground footprint). DD coils also are quieter in mineralized ground (less ground noise return).
