Coin 2x2s

Didnt see a place to post this so sticking it here.

Anyone know of a good place to buy some Coin 2x2 holders? Been looking around the internet but seems like everywhere I find a place that has a reasonable price they charge a fortune for S/H.

I like coin wizzard.

I found them locally at a "books-a-million" bookstore here in Alabama, also try hobby shops.

I drop by my local coin shop and buy 100 at a time of penny/dime, nickel/quarter, and silver dollars sizes. They aren't that much, like 2 or 3 cents each.

And then I only use them for my olders coins and tokens. i.e. I will card IH Pennies and older, Buffalo Nickels and Older, Merc dimes and older, Standing Liberty Quarters and Older, All silver halves and dollars.

Silver war nickels, Rosies, and Washington quarters go into a plastic coin roll that has a cap. Wheaties get separated into jars by decade. Any significantly valuable coin gets it's own holder.

A very long time ago, I started off putting all of my older coins in holders, including wheaties. As my experience increased and I began finding more and more coins on each trip, it became evident that putting all of them in cards wasn't going to work, I'd go broke buying cards. So this is what I've found that works for me.

I ordered mine online from Jake's Coins. They are self sealing and the lowest price I could find online. Supersafe Self Sealing 2" x 2" Coin Holders

I get 50 at Jake's for $7.90 as opposed to $8.21 from Coin Wizard. How expensive is the shipping? Thanks!!!

I'm sorry. I was talking about the self sealing flips.

If you end up buying them at a local coin dealer . . . take a second to lift open the box and examine them (I buy the 100 count "U-DO-IT" brand 2x2's). I once bought a box of dime 2x2's only to find that over half of them were cut off center just enough to be very annoying. So when I went back to buy others, I started open the boxes and looking and found a few other boxes containing some that were cut (or stamped) off center as well.
