Coin Eater Stricks Again!

I went back to the spot that I found the sliced Washington quarter yesterday and hunted around the plug that I dug. I finally got a signal that I thought was worth digging. It was about 2 feet away from the plug. Did I get short changed? WOW! What are the chances? Coin eatin night crawlers?
Also got a sterling ring, toasted B nickel,some 40's wheats and a gold heart thingy. Also showing a little bit of the clad.There was a lot of clad at this site, and almost no iron or junk.
Back to reality on Tuesday. Luck Yawl?

I take it someone must have cut up a few Coins and tossed them around the area you are searching. At least you found another piece of Silver and congrats on the Ring and the other finds. Funny -- the cut on that one is not even straight - I would have thought if the COIN EATER was in fact a lawnmower that it would be a straight cut across the coin. If you have Andy's book take a look near the back at my bizarre discovery of a dime cut into thirds over two different days. It was a wild story as the last piece was my last target on the second day at dusk and I kept losing it in the grass. Felt great to put that dime back together after so many years! I've found both pieces of one or two others, but not the rest - hope you find yours!

Nice going GR. I think you did get short changed. I was at a club hunt one time and found half of a silver quarter. Kept on looking and finally found the other half. HH.
