Coin Garden Question

I am ready to plant my garden in the yard. I have a good collection of worn coins that will work perfect for this task.

I plan on putting them in at the following depths:

Franklin Half - 9 inches
Washington Quarter (silver) - 8 inches
Standing Liberty Quarter - 9 inches
Roosevelt Dime (silver) - 6 inches
Mercury Dime - 8 inches
Barber Dime - 9 inches
War Nickel - 7 inches
Buffalo Nickel - 7 inches
V Nickel - 8 inches
Wheat Penny - 7 inches
Indian Head Penny - 8 inches

I am trying to put them at reasonable depths (where I typically find them in the field). Does anyone have any other recommendations based on their own gardens? Would it be good to put several coins at a deeper depth? I am pretty certain some of the coins will give the same signal (the dimes), so I have some flexibility in the depths.

Thanks,
Silver Bullet

Make a Map and have some sort of a marker where the targets start.

That is a lot! I have 6 coins from 5 down to 10 inch deep! 3 years old and work great for me! Good for test my E-Trac before I go hunt! First make sure that your ground is clean and no metal! About 3 feet apart is best for me. Make sure to mark where, what is it and how deep it is! I am glad that I did because no way to remember all! You might put a nail and silver dime in a hole for learning!
