Cold, wet, rainy Saturday

Went out detecting with my brothers Saturday, rained most of the time we were out there - and for the first time this fall, my fingers got cold! My take was 7 wheats, 1 Indian (1900), a Civil War store card for "Stebbins and Wilson" of Ann Arbor (found the same kind 2 years ago), a '47 Rosie, '23 Merc and last but not least, a no-date SLQ - did not get a good tone on it until I dug a wheat cent about 6 inches away - only then did it hit solid.

Nice going Doc.

I swear the CTX hits hardest on copper. It's been my experience.

Nice saves! Cold fingers and it isn't even Halloween yet......dang, I sure am glad I don't live in Sault Ste. Marie anymore!! (at least, in the winter.....which starts about now!!)
