Considering the EQ800 but have a question

Having both, I prefer the S shaft lever lock system and elliptical coils of Vanquish. And it's a tremendous bang for buck, especially 340 and 440... even 540 with what they come with and can do. Usually I'm all about configurability but prefer the simplicity of Vanquish as well.

As with any machine , there is and always will be a learning curve. They are all good machines . The more time you put in to learning the machine the better you will become at making great finds. Andy's books are good and informative and a great reference guide , that being said " Hands on is the best way of learning" . HH

I’ve found it to be a great beach hunting machine too....it’s impressed me so far.....I’m using the 540.
