(GOLD) As some of you know, I have been a plumbing contractor for 32 years now and I do a lot of high-end homes and remodels. I just did a multi-million dollar remodel on a home that was built in the late 70's. In that time period the finest and most expensive fixtures were available in real 24k gold plate. This heavy gold plate would never tarnish or discolor. The only drawback was that with a lot of use over the decades the plating could wear through. This shower head, arm, flange, and volume control came out of this home from a bathroom that was almost never used. The thing is almost new looking and is pretty. Again, real 24k gold. I have sold these things and they were very pricey.
