Just got back from my 3rd 3 hour session with the new machine. First, let me say, it`s great ! 1901 barber( 7 inches), 3 wheats(one 1912), 2 clad quarters, 2 clad dimes, no date buff, 41 jeff, 5 various memorials and zincolns and last but not least, a 68 40% Kennedy. I hunted the same old house site I did yesterday. The pinpointing is going good up to about 7 inches, but on the deeper signals I`m having a bit of trouble locating the targets. I know I`m missing some stuff, and expected that would be the case. The only thing I have changed from factory is to switch on deep. Nine hours so far and 43 coins.4 silver, 1942 Washington, 1917 merc, 1901 barber dime, 1968 kennedy, 13 wheats, oldest 1910,10 clad dimes and quarters, 12 memorials(mainly cause don`t dig the real shallow ones) 2 buffs, and 2 jeffs. This thing is a nickle sniffer for sure, I used to miss a lot of them with the old analog. Hope some of you well experienced explorer guys will chime in with some comments and suggestions.
