I ordered an SE this morning.

Any suggestions of anything to read or watch? I am going to watch the Explorer videos on youtube and read on the forums.

Any tips to share for the first time out?
I also have a SR 8" and 5" on order as soon as they are available. I am excited about this detector. I also have an F75 and I think they will compliment each other well.

I have the explorer-2 and I just started with some basics at first.
I use the digital display and have a printed number chart that's soft laminated.
Afterwards I got into the programs saving feature. I found the accept/reject using the small cursor can get down to some tight resolution.
I don't have it on this computer (other in defrag at the moment), but online there are charts for several targets giving the FER - CON numbers.
I work the EX-2 slow for the deeper silver. Also I set the sens in manual. Use the iron mask often.
Explorer-2 - stock coil - sunray 5 inch stealth coil.

Thanks! You like detectors as much as I do... laff. I find that with better detectors and coils and patience... you don't have to find so many new sites. The old ones become new again! and the find's are the good stuff!
