Counterfiet large cents.

Rays right arm to be able to find that coin. Had to be a thrill!

I jist love diggin this colonial stuff

It seems there was a joker tryin to corner the market on counterfietin in yer neck o' the woods.
Have you even done any research into the subject localy ?

Man would i love to find one o' them.

On the subject of reeded edges.
Do ya know why it was adopted onto American minted coins?
There was supposedly a fella named Josh that was allways shavin
a bit o' gold from each coin he took into his posession.
This, as you know, would reduce the weight o' the coin which reduced it's value.
( hence the term...."stop Joshin me" )
This is why the reeded edge was adopted by American mints.

take 'em Oregon Minelab boys to yer good coins spots.
I'd say, judgin by what you've posted here that you didn't
because when they got back to my place they weren't showin me anything like those  .

But then, i've allways suspected that they didn't allways show me
everything they dug at places i've taken 'em.

Or was that Brandy that they hooked up with out there?
