First off the start I am brand new to the game I have been noticing that after it rains when i go out I am getting more pronounced clearer sounds in the multi tones
Has anyone else noticed this. Or am i just crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks Steve

People always say that the rain puts a glow in the ground I agree the moister helps

No your not crazy. I had a silver Rosie yesterday give me that silver sound, but the numbers were weird...(1-41 was one I remembered). There was nulling underneath the coin when I re-probed. But, yes, moisture will give a more pronounced sound!

I agree too!

Wet ground definitely improves target response and depth for me.....especially when you compare it with bone dry conditions on the same site.

Cheers

Without a doubt, moist ground will help in pulling the deeper signals. Unfortunately, it also makes iron come alive. :rage:

I noticed that iron did come alive also thanks for not sending me to the shrink lol

I dig very little iron with etrac...........UNTIL the ground is saturated with rain.........then I get fooled more often when I am chasing iffy signals

Well, we'll see how it is. We've gotten close to 4 inches of rain in the last 3 days. This doesn't happen very often in Nebraska on the edge of the Sandhills. So our ground is certainly saturated!!
